Missing link between code and data

The part of the folklore wisdom in Zagreb hacker community is that configuration file is missing link between code and data, if not chronologically, then logically. Every configuration file has a tendency to develop to the point it is written in Turing complete programming language. This interesting idea can be varied on many ways.  Thanks to Marcell Mars who contributed to its formulation and brought it to my attention.
